“…time well spent on how to arrange a plan for our finances that will save us THOUSANDS on the EFC for our daughter’s college education.”

We are very pleased with the helpful information and money saving advice we have received from The College Planning Network. The planning sessions we attended were time well spent on how to arrange a plan for our finances that will save us THOUSANDS on the EFC for our daughter’s college education. The CPN group is an organization I would highly recommend to anyone who has a child that is planning on continuing their education into the college years.

“It was a great experience and well worth it!”

CPN took care of all of the FAFSA forms for us and submitted them well in advance of school deadlines to insure maximum funds would be available to our daughter. It was a great experience and well worth it!

“Thanks for saving my parents money!”

My parents recently signed up for your services after listening to a free Tele-Workshop. They were hesitant at first, but when they received the advice on how to decrease their EFC on the FAFSA, they were very happy. Without the advice, they said that our EFC would have been much higher. They wished they would have known about The College Planning Network more than a year ago to make the changes that needed to be made a lot sooner. I have received my award letter from at least one college so far and our out-of-pocket costs through the college is actually lower than what the EFC was on the FAFSA! Thanks for saving my parents money!

“We are so glad for CPN’s help, and for the excellent follow up when additional information and yearly FAFSA is required.”

Our financial situation was very complicated due to our involvement with several small businesses and start-ups in progress. We had pre-planned and saved for our children’s college educations, but decided to attend one of CPN’s Tele-Workshops “just in case”. We were shocked when we found out that, due to the formulas used for financial aid eligibility, we could basically be penalized for the college savings. CPN worked with our daughter to help her with her college search, and was able to wade through and re-allocate our financials, and substantially improve financial aid eligibility in a fair, legal, and equitable manner. We are confident that our pre-planned education assets will now not be depleted prematurely. We are so glad for CPN’s help, and for the excellent follow up when additional information and yearly FAFSA is required.

“…thank you so much for everything! We’re so grateful!”

Hi Alicia! Just wanted to forward the appeals response from Georgetown and let you know how thrilled we are! Thank you so, so much for your help!

“I can hardly believe you were so willing to help me on such a short notice at the end of the work day. You certainly went above and beyond!”

Robyn,

Thank you so much for all of your help.  I can hardly believe you were so willing to help me on such a short notice at the end of the work day.  You certainly went above and beyond!  You are wonderful.  Right after talking with you the FAFSA website shut Noah out again before he was finished, but he finally got on, finished what he needed to do and just got it submitted.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Before Talking to CPN:

Hi Dave,

I know Erick talked to you yesterday about our dilemma with BG.  I’m attaching the letter we received from them as well as Zack’s latest report card.  I have no idea if it’s possible to resubmit his application to them with letters of recommendation from teachers (and/or others) and to address the issue of his GPA not meeting their minimum or any other documentation you think might help.

I think Erick explained to you the whole saga of his ADHD diagnosis and the turnaround he has made this year.  He is like a totally different student.  If it were last year this time, I would not even be encouraging him to pursue college but he has made a very positive transformation this year.  It’s been like a breath of fresh air.  Unfortunately, it didn’t allow enough time to have much effect on his cumulative GPA and now he’s paying the price.  He is so close to their requirements, I’m hoping they will reconsider.

Let me know what you think.  We have not told him about the denial letter from BG yet.  Thanks!

Sandy W.

After Talking to CPN:

After talking to Maureen and Cathy in your office, I spoke to the Admissions rep at BG – she was very interested in the information on Zack regarding the ADHD.  She asked me to fax his most recent report card immediately.  She called back about an hour later and advised they are going to accept him – he will be part of special program where his grades will be monitored.  The only difference is he’ll have to meet with an advisor 4 times per semester to ensure he never drops below a 2.5 GPA.  Yay!

“I truly believe that Catherine would not be attending the college of her choice without your help.”

Thanks very much for taking care of this for us.  I can’t say enough times how much we appreciate all that the College Planning Network did to help us in the college search process.  I truly believe that Catherine would not be attending the college of her choice without your help.

“With their help and guidance I received great SAT and college essay writing preparation which I believe has helped me get into most of the universities I have applied to.”

“Deborah Whitman and Dennis Hughner are great advisors. They truly care about making the process easy and bearable for the anxious senior (me) and my even more anxious parents. With their help and guidance I received great SAT and college essay writing preparation which I believe has helped me get into most of the universities I have applied to. When I got denials they were so kind and their belief in me kept me from having self-pity and when I did get acceptances they were just as excited and happy as my parents. The financial advice and help on my FAFSA was awesome as well. I owe so much to the dedication and care of CPN, they helped me during the craziness of junior year, continued supporting and encouraging me this year, and helped me get into my top schools! Thank you all so much for everything you do. You don’t just change my life, you change many others too.”

I have to admit, when I saw CPN’s video I was sceptical; however now would recommend CPN to anyone who has college bound students.

I have to admit, when I saw CPN’s video I was sceptical; however now would recommend CPN to anyone who has college bound students. Just plan early. Daughter number 1 (who graduates in May 2011), did not even start her application, FAFSA or for that matter college selection process until February. 2011! I almost had a heart attack…. CPN took the “bull by the horns” and now we are just waiting for the offers due to CPN’s rapid response. So far I am real impressed, but my daughter has not been accepted yet (which is not CPN’s job). The professionism, quick responses and advice has been wounderful. I also have 2 other daughters that will be attending college within the next 2 years. CPN is already on top of this, which takes a huge amount of pressure off of me.
